This is just a casual observation. Perhaps,someone can back me up on this. I noted this morning that the futures dropped from approximately +6.00 to +2.00 while Grenspan was speaking. It is my contention that the futures dropped because of Greenspans deadpan monotone. He probably put a good portion of investors into a catatonic state with his monotone. God, I hope this thing begins to turn around. I made the "mistake" of leaving an open order to buy last Monday at 59. I thought that Friday's upturn was a sign of bottoming out. My (costly and margined) mistake. Good luck to all and hope for a rapid turnaround. SSD David
