Jim,

I doubt that you will get many yeha's here on a short. The idea of the market is to go up on econo. growth and prosperity for all. I know this may sound a little corny, but that is the American way.
Short sellers have always been held in contempt due to the perception that their profits were taken off of the hard work of others. If I may offer, once again, post your short picks, but don't post the profit thing, it hurts others, who do not short and are suffering losses. Personally I like them and will, as you know, sell short, but, do not expect a large ovation from me or the regulars on this thread. It is just not our way. I saw that you were correct on e-trade and quitely kicked myself for not joining, but had to work today so was not able to go along. Not bashing, Jim, just saying what I'm sure others are thinking.

James, certainly no offense taken on my end..If you or anyone [even Ken<g> ;^) ] is making money, even staying even in this market, my hat is off to you. Seems every time I stick my foot in the pond, I get a toe lopped off<g>...Congrats to you low down, dirty shorts<lol!!> DD
PS: does anyone know of a fund that concentrates on the Corrections industry, or is heavily weighed in that area?-Not that I'm buying at this point..Intersting, one of my picks for the "Z contest", BIAC is number 3 in gains since Sept. 1, up 40%(no,I don't own it-shit!) and has been holding up well. The same can't be said about most other corrections stocks,WHC,CCA,PZN,KIDS,YSII etc...Great growth, great earnings..will be eyeing this sector for a bottom..eventually<g>
