so, all you newcomers and misknowitalls can bash all you want. the shorts won this battle. but the war will soon enter a new phase. with refr and ailorous both buying stock in the open market, and the prospect of several new licensee announcements that can be made at any moment, i think you will have your heads handed to you. and yes, i am very long, and buying more all the time. thank you for dropping the price a bit for me. Sometimes the lack of civility online astounds me. There is no war here, only an efficiently functioning market based on differing relative expectations of the risks and rewards of the principle asset of REFR - SPD technology. I only asked if midnight oil was being burnt. That is a common investor question is it not? Whatever your position. You have given us your word ("I know for a fact") that Mr. Harary works late. Thank you. As Roger said, we spoke with him and he sounded like a very nice gentleman. Have you visit the company? If so, I would be very interested in hearing about your experience there. Did you get to meet some of REFR's key technical people? Yahoo and their SEC filings report that they have a staff of 5 executives and 6 technical people. I don't know if they have hired additional people, can you find out for us? It will affect their burn rate, but might help further the technology, so that would be valuable information for an investor. REFR is mailing me copies of the technology patents and I will take a look if I have time. They have also kindly invited me to visit the company facility, which I will do if I happen to be in the area. You mentioned chemists hired at MSC to work on the technology. Have you met them? What is their background? Have they worked with this sort of technology before? Can you tell me who, exactly, said that this technology was "the best we have ever seen"? Who do you communicate with at MSC? If investors on this thread can't verify a fact or opinion, then they will probably disregard it. Also, what are the "big plans" you refer to at MSC? Is there a new factory being built to manufacture SPD materials? That would be great news for REFR. I hope you aren't giving out inside information, telling us all about the big plans. In general, a comment like this attracts the attention of sellers who have heard that phrase one time too many. Interesting that you say these companies have to agreed to help with the development of this technology. N. Dixson told us that the technology was about to be released, any day now. Seems like there wouldn't be much development work left. Do you have any idea about how far along they are with the development? What milestones need to met next, etc. Lawrence, if you are a stock hypster, then obviously I'm wasting my time, but if you are a serious investor in the REFR technology then why don't we stick to facts that can be verified by any investor and rationally discuss the potentials of this technology and company management. Like I said before, I think the technology sounds neat, but that there are financial hurdles to be overcome. If you are long and buying all the time as you say, that is wonderful news for REFR and Ailouros. I wasn't planning to take a large position because I did not want to influence REFR's ability to raise capital. But if you will step up to the plate, maybe there will be enough buyers to go around. We should all be happy. Great. So now that all the players are outlined, can we focus on the technology and it's applications? Best Regards, Jon
