IMO, nothing has changed.

Now, of the bear markets that I've seen in my short life, each one of them has presented itself as the end of the world, only to LATER be hailed as a "Chance of a Lifetime" for long term investors.

Tom, I don't want to come off like a wiseass, but the key phrase was in my short life. Investors who bought in 1930 waited one hell of a long time before they broke even let alone made money.

I'm still 110% invested and down 33% from the peak in May, but this scares the crap out of me when I see major hits on the likes of CCI over the past few months. Admittedly, at $180/share it was overpriced, but it is now selling for a split adjusted $70/share wiping out almost 4 years of gains.

BTW, the reason I am so pessimistic is there is a total lack of world leadership on this world economic problem.

Tom,

How do you reconcile daily drops of like today with the lowering of risk as characterized by the IW? These large percentage drops seem much more risky me than a few months ago.
