And the weasels at the DOJ and FTC are wasting our tax dollars in an attempt to punish and cripple the bellweather leaders of the IT revolution, MSFT . . .

That would be MSFT, leader of the internet revolution? According to which revisionist history would that be? Version 1, 2, 3? The '99 Encarta version? INTC has a different approach in legal matters, of course. CSCO, we'll wait and see. Always made me nervous to see them cozying up to Bill, but otherwise they seem to have competition out there, as does INTC.

It'll be a long time before antitrust wastes our tax dollars to the point that, say, the B-1 bomber did. Or Star Wars, or any number of other multi-billion boondoggles. In fact, I'd guess be a long time before the Microsoft effort equals the cost of 1 B-1 or B-2. Different strokes.

Cheers, Dan.

Just what we need - more Chicken Littles trying to keep the lemmings moving.

Things are not going to hell-in-a-handbasket, and investigations into MSFT and INTC and CSCO are not wasting our tax dollars. On the contrary, if the effect is to make CEO's more aware of the law, so much the better for investors.

Mr. K.

James:

My thoughts exactly. I get a kick out of the people like ToySoldier talking about MSFT recent price moves. Uh, wouldn't have anything to do with the overall market would it? When the stock hit 97 or so about 4 weeks ago, Toy lectured us about how we wouldn't see $100 again. The stock closed over $100 the next day and stayed their the next 3 straight weeks. Zero credibility, most humorous. Cheryl is even funnier, I guess the Nasdaq dropped a hundred points in a day because NT5 is late...Your comment on the misguided DOJ and FTC is right on. Global financial meltdown seems to be a little more urgent.

Yea.. How true can you be.. Many of these people
never held a job in the private sector, so they
can't appreciate a well oiled machine.. It's time
to break this establishment up for good.. Any ideas??
