Most people who've been through a few market cycles say we need a good, hard selling climax and capitulation to indicate a market bottom. I would say that we must be getting pretty close as today's action can definitely be described as climactic.

You didn't say what you saw in the Bull/Bear survey, but I think you probably saw an overwhelming weighting towards the number of bears.

Like some of the people cited in your recent post my heavy weighting in Apple computer and VLSI has required me to respond to a margin call. Fortunatly, I have one stock which is at its annual cyclic high where I would be selling anyway.

Here's hoping for a turn around soon. Like you, Tom, my warehouse is bulging at the seams. Curiously, with commodity prices way down, I've had to actually turn several people away who are wanting to rent my grain storage bins. So, my warehouses really are bulging with both real commodities and stocks certificates.
