MrGreenJeans:

Nice post. You are preaching to the choir.

Two more positive observations. Ralph's call was made when the DOW was down about 150 points and it closed down only nine points. Unlike before, he did not cause the market to close lower today. AJC downward revision of earnings estimates on the S & P likewise had no effect on the market.

*** Most Important Post of the Last Month ***

From: MrGreenJeans
To: All

Just got through reading the last 40 or so posts after a long day. My advice is that many of the posters need to INHALE DEEPLY.

I have gone through worse market moves than the one we have experienced the past 2.5 months or so. My advice is simple-this is not the end of the world and if you want to create real wealth for you and your family keep buying with both hands.

Hopefully, in another few months you will be wealthier than at present and if the market is still in the dumper by dollar cost averaging along the way you will be buying at attractive prices. I have bought stocks when they went through more severe moves than this only to be told by others what a fool I was at the time. Well, I am glad I did...my family and I are better off for it especially compared to those nervous nellies whose advice I did not take...who never seem to have enough money to meet the bills, go out to eat or take a decent vacation nevermind buy the things they want or need. If you liked stocks at 9300 you love them here. If you do not maybe stocks are not for you.

Keep cool, be civil, the market will turn, keep buying...

Thank you for some much needed reflection for all investors.
