I was in the process of setting up 2 accounts. One with ameritrade and the other with Daytek. I got the forms filled them out but didn't mail them in.(yet) You have to send them a bank draft of minimum $2000 U.S dollars to start trading. I didn't do it because i'm waiting for my 'big chance' down at Sure Trade, i guess. I get started in January.

Wayne, how did you reserve a spot at sure-trade w/o paying?

Well I guess I got my answer - I applied for an account with Datek. When I applied for my Greenline account I was told straight out that Canadians cannot hold U.S broker accounts for tax reasons. I guess my brokers didn't feel like telling the true that day.

Happy trading

Best Regards
