There was a million-share trade today at 12:01:45/12:01:47 EDT in two 500,000-share blocks at 8-15/16 and 8-7/8. Interesting, but it didn't move the price either way that I could see. We went from 400,000 shares traded to 1,400,000 traded in an instant; had to blink my eyes and go back to delayed info to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

I've seen blocks as big as 100,000 trade before, but don't recall ever seeing anything nearly this large.
