I'm not surprised about the Beanie Baby counterfeits. I recall hearing about overseas factories that once they made their quota for designer goods they simply kept the sewing machines going for making the exact same stuff to sell on their own to the black market.

That's the same reason I never spent $500 for a baseball card. Too easy to counterfeit. Too easy to forge a signature. Besides, when the next fad hits, Beanies will be selling for .99. Is Ty a publicly traded company?
