No I don't put much weight on the PCI stuff and the whole thing may be made up or at least misunderstood by the poster. What I meant is that if 3Dfx is going to ship a 32MB Banshee in Q2 99 (Apr~May), which they did say, then it is not unreasonable for them to be preping the developers now, since the board has to be ready for sampling in Q1 99. The same logic applies to the rest of that post.
