Only suckers SOLD yesterday...It took a lot of GUTS to not sell yesterday. Even, I SOLD sold some (!!), the biggest sucker that I am anyway. Luckily sold just enough to get me less nervous. Now I dont plan to sell any COMS until it hits 40. Period.

That's always the risk. The odds are for the gap down to selloff. Another way to play gap ups is to put in a buy stop higher past the gap up to catch a run like you say. Generally it takes company or sector specific news to make that happen. If it keeps running, my buy to cover stop would get hit. I place buy to cover stops at the same place I'd put a buy stop order.

That's right, it depends on how sentiment builds this weekend, the overseas markets and the S&P Futures contract on monday. The odds are with me so far shorting a gap up on COMS. When the trend (3 day moving average) is up as opposed to the current down to flat--I look for gap downs to buy into instead. Just trade with the trend my friend. The flat trend we were left with after today made me make sure I didn't hold any position in COMS over the weekend.
