Michelle,
I've enjoyed watching your posts over time and value your views on the enterprise software technologies and markets. Thus, I am gratified to see you have turned somewhat more bullish on Oracle. I'm going to hang in with this company for a while, as I am just crazy enough to buy LE's vision of how the internet, databases and e-commerce will come together. Please keep posting.
Regards,

Michelle,

Why your sudden more positive outlook on ORCL? Not too long ago I interpreted that you felt ORCL was losing on most fronts, and future was bleak (I could have mis-interpreted, but I think this was accurate). What fundamentally has changed re outlook to make you change your view?

Other views: I think it is increasingly becoming clear that ORCL is going to be at the center of businesses utilizing the internet. NT is apparently less of a threat than earlier speculation justified. ORCL is also doing a good job partnering to gain the best of breed functionality. I like this kind of business model where ORCL encourages and assists other vendors to tie into ORCL. This adds to ORCL's value chain and serves to entrench ORCL's position..
