On 8/31 I show the OSX closing at close to it's low for the day of 47.84 (closed at 47.89). The low for yesterday was 45.53. The significant thing for me though was the way it gaped down (Wednesday's low was 49.83 and yesterday's high was 48.35). Regardless though, I agree that a one day violation of previous lows may not be significant, especially in the environment of a large overall market decline. I'm also hoping it's a double bottom and not a continuation of the downtrend.
