Just wonder if any here are playing the E-trade Canada stock game, started this AM. My game account sure got screwed up. Ordered a bunch of PYT VSE @ 2.10 apx. When I checked the account later it showed PYT Gillette @ 40.xx, that would be $US. I had hardly any of my $500k left & couldn't sell or later on it would have let me sell @ 2.10 apx.

Sure took the fun out of their game for me this AM! They know about the problem but don't know how they can correct things & keep everyone happy.

Anyone else playing &/or had problems, if you are into it?

Think my game would have made 50 - 60g today.

Keith: Almost all brokerage firms in the U.S. will accept accounts from Canadians. In fact I would recommend it. The U.S. is far more competitive and offers far higher levels of service. Canadian brokers still have their heads in the sand. Etrade Canada for example offers $38 commissions on U.S. stocks while their U.S. conterpart offers them at $14.95 - DUH!

Greenline isn't much better offering U.S. stocks at commissions of $29
while their U.S. subsidiary offers them @ $12!

Even Swift Trade, the new day trading firm in Canada has commissions of $25 on U.S. stocks while the average commission rate for the identical service in the U.S. is $19!

How stupid do these people think we are??
