<The gurus of this thread have been alarmingly incorrect in calling the market! Aren't you guys a bit embarrased about (still) giving out daily projections? >

Really? Perhaps you could back that up and give some examples. However, no one is ever right about the market 100% of the time. The idea is to call where we are headed next. We've been in a trading range for a while which I believe Don has called accurately. If I interpret his posts correctly, then he expects us to eventually break to the downside. I tend to agree with that and would expect it to happen within a month.

Regarding 'Fibbinocci', it's a challenging name to spell correctly and none of meaning is lost if a letter or two is misplaced or omitted. OTOH 'embarrased', as you say, is a common word that even the SI spell checker recognizes ;-)

Re: embarrassed

I think it's bold to make any sort of calls in this market and have respect for those who are willing to do so.

Regards

Fleetwood,

I dont need unsubstantiated comments like yours. Everyone has a right to an opinion but to another persons opinion down and try to ridicule them.

Now thats awful.

Fleetwood, you're being funny and not anal, right ??. If not, and if you have no use for the information on the thread, do us all a favour and get lost.

Perhaps you should look for gurus elsewhere. On this thread there are merely people trying to understand, anticipate and profit from market moves. Since you have apparently mastered that skill; you certainly don't need the input of the posters here.

Fleetwood, Mark Twain once said "A person lacks in imagination if he spells the same word twice the same.. we still get the meaning.. by the way Albert Einstein was a high school drop out and the way they were teaching math was only confusing him.. I'm proud of Don Sew to come on SI everyday with his very accurate calls.. I read him first thing in the morning before I look at anything else that might influence how I might trade.. I think you only suffer from lack of exposure to Don Sew.. I for one know him thru his post's as a genius...
FWIW ..
"seeya" :)

If we gurus are so incorrect in calling the market, why did I net 378% on puts in the last week and a half. I do not usually post trades nor do I care if you believe me, but I read Don's stuff all the time and it aids me in my analysis and helps me to think through my positions.
No one is ever right 100 % of the time and with this market the way it is, you would be wise to pay attention to some other opinions. We are trying to share ideas on this thread as best we know how. I tend to have less ideas than others but unless you have something constructive to say that can be backed with fact and sound reasoning...PLEASE GO AWAY!!!

Fleetwood,

I must admit that spelling has never been my strong suit, but I will defer to guys like you in that respect. Speaking of respect, Donald Sew has mine.

BTY, I passed Algebra 1.

Jeff

This post is soooo hysterical I just had to come out of the underground to respond

hmmmm....pot calling the kettle black....or is that kettle calling the pot black...well however that saying goes...you should at least have the smarts to make sure YOUR spelling is correct when attacking someone elses spelling

HA that is so damn funny.....

btw, SO WHAT if Don has been wrong or right....he makes an attempt every day with his analysis...and unlike many on SI...doesnt going around tooting his own horn

let's see your track record and your willingness to help others

The Illiterate Gopher Babe...The WORST speller and hatchet blaster of the English language on SI...and who doesnt give a damn if she is...

Fleetwood:

This thread, and Don Sew, have been around a lot longer than you've been posting here. I read your post, and was going to post back a pithy comment to you, but then read the 12 other posts that responded to your asinine post.

I think Don, lisa, LG, HiSpeed, Beeblebrox and the others say it well.

Just let me say, Don has contributed more to this thread and others on SI than you ever have or ever will.

BTW, don't presume to criticize someone else's spelling if you can't even spell yourself (or use the SI spellcheck feature).

These guys even know what a bear flag is. LOL!

Personally, I think that might be almost as embarrassing as correcting another's spelling in a note in which I misspelled "embarrassed". JFWIW.

Leonardo fili Bonacci - son of italian merchant

Bonacci...while monks made wine and studied pea pods,

Leonardo fiBonacci observed how rabbits multiplied in

natural order, 3 from 2, 5 from 3, 8 from 5, etc...and figured

out the universal ratio of the delta...

Fleetwood meantime was seen wondering if the result would have

been similar if Leonardo Fibonacci started with 2 male rabbits.
