<sigh>..Christine, what I understood purething to be saying was, quite simply, that America is fixated on the President's genitals. In that particular post, he was not taking a position on whether "it" is "about" Clinton's private sex life or "about" lying and/or perjury and/or whatever. What he was saying, as I understood him to say, is that it is the sex angle that has people fascinated. Much more interesting, after all, than learned arguments over whether Clinton "made false statements" or "perjured himself" (a real distinction, by the way). Hey, check out the net...there are more Clinton & Monica dirty joke sites than you can shake a stick at. The porno sites now offer nude pictures of Monica (not that I have personally checked ou the offers). Watch television (which I don't) -- I gather that Jay Leno et al. have done an endless number of routines about cigars, BJs, and what not...And so on and so forth. jbe
