Carl, I have not looked at the RMBS situation, but TXN is making more money (bottom line) from royalties then from selling chips, so royalties might indeed be quite interesting (no inventory, no overhead etc.). RMBS technically actually looks pretty good. I should go on their thread and see what they think about it.

Hi Carl,

no need to be so abrasive!! I learned about VECO from a comment on another thread, checked it out and liked what I read.
Where does this "forever" word come from? Investing in stocks is a (in my very humble opinion) is a decision based on what one sees NOW and possible developments in the FORESEEABLE future. For instance, whilst VECO has good products and a great management, the semiconductor industry is not predicted to take off again until the latter half of next year at best.
And when the DD Industry will turn around (withor without GMR) is anyones guess.

Alan
