KJ,

<Thanks for a re-direct of focus<g>. We spent way too much time on what the RegDs were doing or will do.>>

My reaction was - Hey, what's this technical item doing it a financial thread? Seriously, it's the tech talk that attracted me to this board. I wish other boards that I look at had similar, high quality technical discussions.

However, I also wish that I had looked at the subject of Convertible Preferred Offerings a year ago. I did not pay any attention to the topic until the S-3 came out 6 weeks ago. Had I known a year ago what I know now, I would not have been buying the dips for the last year. In fact I probably would have followed Ed Doell's advice and sold short against the box.

I'm still bullish on Ancor, but I could have spent a lot less money to own the same number of shares as I do now.

Greg

KJ,

I'm not so sure we have spent way too much time on the Reg D issues. It is important to understand what happened, even though it is well after the fact. That's one reason I didn't jump in until today with more technical discussions. Over the years, this thread has concentrated on the technical details and ignored the financial ones. That has proven to be costly. I still believe that Ancor's technology is the engine that will ultimately make or break the company, but the fiscal end of things can't be ignored.

That said, I am still more comfortable discussing the technology issues, so I hope there is still a little room here for that. <g>

I must also confess to being quite ignorant to the technology used in the mainframe world. Are these ESCON directors common? How much do they cost?
