SP5 Magnets

Sorry for the confusing layout. SI would not let me put this on with the preview feature
checked. When I go back to edit it it does not work right.
geeeeez, short Go2Net, this is really getting to me. OK

so now I have go2net and western digital in the scope for shorts for
purely personal reasons.

commentary:

SP5. I am not going to say which way the market looks to go because
I have such mixed signals. I can say that this week looks to be as,
if not more, volatile than last. Lots of battles to be fought
between bulls and bears as the former tries to make this market base
and the later tries to "give it the business" Important areas for
SP5 are 932 (to hold end of day) and the 1012 trendline which would
really be nice to break to the upside. I think it will take a while
before that particuar trendline is broken. I would call this week a
win for the bulls if the market ends up flat to slightly positive

Before I get any farther, football fans make sure to watch Tim Dwight
a kick off and punt returner for Atlanta, also gets in on some
offensive sets. As some of you know I am an Iowan originally and
have had the pleasure of watching Tim put on miles of highlight reels.
Fun to watch

Dow 30

Dow 30 has a trendline crossover on the 16th of this month (Friday
the 16th). I would like to see it above 7724 going into the middle
of the week. Will be tough to do however as it is hitting the top of
is current downtrend channel (7894 downtrend). Another one with
mixed signals. One of which is the StochRSI which is in Jailbreak
mode and is near overbought. Imagine, overbought in this market.
Could be lots of golf in my immediate future. Not ready to throw
in the towel, but I do have it in hand just in case.

Milesov,

I did hedge saying it was cheezey in "certain environs". I have access to Bob's formula at Brooke's site, and the A to Z, but LinReg won't get me there by itself. I'm pulling out the circa '71 CRC calculus text to see what's all to it. Summation isn't the rub. It's adapting the slope formula to produce a dynamic MA. I'll work on that or maybe beg Bob to for the Q+ community at large.

Before conferring with w/ blaboratoriochefdog, shifting MAs, assuming S,E,W is an ordinately lower phylogeny in Q+, if suitable; ready when you are. Could even take MSWIN TSF hits, funnel them as first round pics to subsequent QP scans if need be, but lousy backtests going that way.

Won't touch DJ's handtowel yet. <g>
