Hello all....Still alive and kicking here. Went short BGG today. Not looking great so far, but this overvalued turkey is up big intraday on much lower than average volume...Watching closely today, it is behaving like the evil tower. This one could be the evil engine. <g>
Been holding my own [bonds] throughout the last month, and preserving capital [and what little profits remain] for the year. Have been forced into a more conservative strategy lately..since working day job and not having the "profit cushion" to actively trade in this whipsaw market...
My compliments to all that have so adeptly traded and shared their experiences here...to the benefit of all.
Kudos!

Well drsvelte, that gold rally sure didn't last long. I bagged out of AU yesterday morning for what I paid for it the day before. One of the nice things about it is it lags going down too!

Sure have some fine profits from my previous gold trades though. Will be shopping (in stores) for the next few days and will probably just window-shop at stocks until after option expiration. The market is insane...but it's not taking me with it - this time...

I like Thean's idea of finding some single digit P/E longs of the small cap variety. Will try to come up with a couple.
