Covered BGG for small loss...Looks like we might get a few days of strength before the big LT crash!
I still don't have much faith in gold. The big consumers of gold will continue to come from Asia, India, etc...and without the money to spend, and sans defensive stock buyers, these stocks could continue to retreat from their recent run-ups. Just like diamonds & oil, an artificially created shortage of these commodities in a contracting world economy should keep downward pressure on prices. Maybe a bit simplistic, but common sense still dictates that commodity prices will settle to basic levels of supply/demand; this true for gold, diamonds, oil, etc....
