It will get worse in PSFT. Companies are not spending PERIOD. Unless you're looking a few years out, going long means losing money. Do you ever wonder about all these "man on the street" interviews where people state that they are "in it for the long term"? Eventually, people will realize that stock is just PAPER. By definition, this market will come down to the level where Joe 401K hits the big panic button once he's down 60-70%.

To my knowledge companies aren't required to issue an earnings warning. With that said, I don't think psft is going to miss....BUT I don't know if they will be over analysts' expectations. I've got a feeling here that it all is going to depend on the license fee number. Remember that psft could hit the earnings # and be short on license fees. I hope that doesn't happen but the stock price movement today says something is up here....Guess we'll have to wait to find out. This is actually making me sick.

Does anyone know if psft is planning to have a conference call when they announce earnings this quarter?? I think it would definitely be appropriate at this point.

Good news: I just found out I had the highest score on my first exam in Classical Electromagnetics Theory, II.

Bad News: PSFT dropped significantly. Currently below 20. Expect this downtrend to continue for the next day or two. Congratulations to those who shorted or sold this stock upon market opening.

Good news: Although the price may continue to drop for the next day or two, this is temporary. If your shares of PSFT are out-of-money, DO NOT PANIC (unless you are absolutely certain that PSFT won't meet the expectations next week). Hold or buy some more at this lower price(if you still have any money to invest) and average down. I still expect positive earnings on Tuesday after-market next week. And if PSFT knows what's good for them, the numbers better be good or else I'll be very upset. And when I am upset, .....

Still holding on to those PSFT shares,

Robin
