Sounds to me as if they chose xyln specifically.

drdan, I don't follow your reasoning. Quadritek is a niche networking software company. They would sell their software to anyone who wants to buy it. I didn't see any mention of exclusivity to XYLN in the press release, nor would exclusivity make sense for anyone except XYLN.

XYLN had a need for this software to differentiate their switch. Qaudritek filled the need. I would guess XYLN also looked at other "suppliers" of this software, and ultimately chose Quadritek.
