Cheryl,

I agree with you 100% on that last post. The vaporware that MSFT has been spreading on how NT5 will be the answer to all the enterprise limitations that current NT has will finally evaporate. Then the IT industry and customers of NT will realize that NT5 is not much more enterprise than NT4.

A perfect example is how MSFT is touting that Active Directory will be a true directory service that will be enterprise scaleable and flexible. In fact, anyone who has really looked at MSFT AD has realized that all MSFT has done is put a fancy new interface on top of the existing limited Domain structure. It will be years before MSFT can release a Directory Service with the maturity and scalability of NDS. They first must come to the realization that the underlying Domain structure must be abandoned. By that time NDS will have have even further built another order of magnitude in maturity over AD. This fundamental flaw in the Active Directory will quickly show itself as to its limitations.

Only time will expose MSFT's FUD and vaporware for what it really is.

Cheryl,

Thanks for the response. I agree the stock doesn't look good with a p/e of 50+, but it's been that way for many moons, and I've still seen it outperform many other stock choices. I guess you can say I'm just reluctant to sell what has been a cash cow for me over the last 15 years. Call it lack of foresight on my part, but I just can't seem to let go of it. Maybe Toy would have different feelings if he'd made serious money on MS stock (maybe he did.....) , because I could really give a rat's posterior about the company itself, but I do enjoy a fat ROI. But it's wise to know what faces the company you're expecting to make money, and I appreciate your feedback in that respect.

Good investing.........
