If one good parent is desirable, wouldn't two be better?

Absolutely. I dont think I ever said to the contrary. But one good parent vs. 2 bad ones, or 2 gay parents vs. one single, etc. are very hard to gauge and its a mistake for a political party to pass judgement here imo.

One thing can be said definitively however: Cats are smarter than dogs.

Isn't it totally obvious that this depends on who the second parent would be?

Isn't it totally obvious that it isn't always possible?

Isn't it totally obvious that children should not be raised in unhappy homes?

Tell me, do you give full credit to the Clintons for sticking together and giving Chelsea two parents? (:-)
