Microsoft never grew it's top line anything like Yahoo. Microsoft's sales were tied to PC sales, though Microsoft enjoys an application (and to a small degree an OS) upgrade kicker. Yahoo's sales aren't limited like that yet, because Yahoo is back-filling into the installed base of nearly 200 million PC's, and plus machines that don't run Windows.

I'm guessing, but it took Microsoft nearly ten years to reach 40 million users. Yahoo needed three.

Michigan state and Drake…hummm, there are some of the best universities that we have to offer- not. So, i have 2 questions:

1) How does someone who goes to very mediocre schools (at best) question other people's education and degrees?
2) A jeweler with a BS, MBA and JD….you are joking right? First off, it appears that no quantity of degrees will provide you with better manners, a less arrogant attitude and more logical arguments.

I always wondered what happened to people like you….the endless loop of studying to increase marketability and market value and then after 5 years of killing time (MBA + JD)- the jump into jewelry. You seem like a very thoughtful person. Gee, can you give me some stock advice?

One last thing, does one need to kill 5 years and many thousands of dollars to be as pompous as you and stick a car photo on their profile?

Cheers and good trading!

the question is "Will YHOO grow in step with MSFT". MSFT does not double or triple
its revenues from period to period, but can YHOO. well

You are really funny. First off, MSFT use to quadruple their revenues until they were so large the numbers became a factor. Secondly, if you are an MBA which is really in question in my mind, re-think your post.
