GZ,

I do NOT get a sense of a rally. I think we need a test of the 900 level on the S&P500. And why not EXPIRY week when volatility reigns? I believe the volatility is holding up because it is a longer way down than it is up.

BWDIK?

Bill

GZ,

You must use Quick & Ratty. I bought DJX index put options for Sept four days before expiry. I called Quick & Dumb and specifically asked if those options expired European style. I was tolded NO ! They expire just like stock options. I called again the next day and was told the same thing by a different broker. Thursday before the close I had a 3 bagger but held (usual for me)(haven't faced that fear thing yet). Friday, I went to sell, still a 3 bagger, and found the options closed. Because the S&P opened UP friday morning my option were worthless. Tweedle Dee & Bumd told me I should have known when they expired. The brokers there must have went thru some match book deal to get their license.

Just one man's story. DJF

GZ, Somehow I missed place some info.

Could you give me your advance/decline figures for 10/7 and 10/8. Wrote them down to enter in the spreadsheet and now I cannot find them. I hate when that happens.

I'm quite content to be sitting in cash and occasionally enter a quick day trade. But, I wish you well in your positions.

Thanks,

Berney

Good Morning GZ:

If we hold in the 7850 area today and there are no extraordinary readings out there, I will turn bullish. This could be fun.
