Ahhaha - 'this correction is over' How can you make such a dogmatic statement? One could just as easily say ' there is a near term bear market correction, but the bear market will drag on, with corrections, for the next 18 months to two years, and will drag the Dow down to the 5000 level before it's over' Or the meteor shower is going to knock out # of sattelites. You know I do enjoy your posts hugely. If you were a bit peckish I can certainly put up with that for the quality of your thinking and your ideas. A great treat to hear and listen to what you have to say.

As for being out of the woods. If....if the world's monetary authorities can cobble together a toboggan that will take us over the cracking, groaning glacier beneath us.

I do believe that the jury is still out. We still have not heard, at this moment, from the elephant trying to escape through the revolving door....ie. the holders of the some 5,500 mutal funds created in the last fifteen years.... to hold money in a market that was always rising.

Basically, the price of everything seems to be dropping, dropping. People will hold off buying anything... including stocks in a lackluster market.

My best to you,

Clark
