James, thanks for the further info on the call. You also write:

I know that a number of other companies I have been in have had conference calls
with groups of investors and I never recieved any official notice, so I believe that
this practice is common place.

I believe Fortune 500 companies do this all the time with analysts and large shareholders (not just during the quarterly earnings releases). I know the ones I have worked for invite their largest shareholders or potential shareholders to speak with the CEO and other top officials from time to time via a call or a personal visit

It was as I understand it primarily geared to bring some new investors up to speed on DCI that wanted to talk with the company and this method was obviously more effecient than taking one call at a time.

James,

I apologize that I've caused problems out here with my reference to the conference call. I have been loosely following the stock price and intended to do more personal diligence on the company since they have a local subsidiary; I've known Ken S. from TAVA and respect his opinion; and ultimately the possibility of a certifiable short position.

The info on the conference call was forwarded to me by a person who knew of my interest. But for the most part, Mr. Murphy was pretty careful to stick to historical information and not information that might compromise any current quiet period. Saved him time spent answering the questions of dozens of various shareholders, and gave everyone else to learn from one another. No harm done.

I had just planned on listening in, but got a chance to ask a few questions to boot. I like the story but the stock performance befuddles me. There is quite a bit of volume, but someone is sitting on the ask selling stock (naked or otherwise) trying to keep the price within a certain range.

Either way, once this company can show the market the "money", the stock price will take care of itself. And if it doesn't, the company can buy back its stock at bargain basement prices which will enhance future earnings numbers.

Regards,

Ron
