Is there something other than a visceral reaction that leads you to say this?

Ha Ha Ha.... no..... Its just that I have learned my lesson with stocks that fall "unexpectedly" prior to earnings. This has happened in the last few months to Vantive and Manugistics. It also happened once last year to Itwo. I honestly cant think of any examples where the stock took a fall prior to earnings for some unknown reason and "bad" news wasnt forthcoming. Bad news being below those magic perceived numbers that analysts are looking for.

That said, Psft is still my favorite ERP - up there with Siebel, and I still believe we are only on the very fringes of business automation with the internet. I think psft will gain on Sap even if the market recedes (which it wont long term but it might in 1999).

Right now I just dont want to buy psft until the picture gets a little clearer. Love the company though.
