You might be right, but I think employees pick up on
things. Secrets are hard to keep, word gets around,
and sometimes just the feeling about the place can tell
a lot. I've seen it at the places I've worked. Plus,
I gotta believe that management has done something to
reassure the troops, get them back focused on the tasks
at hand. I can't believe management at this very loose
place is that tight-lipped.

Mel... I agree with David. You can bet the rumor mill is rife with

talk on the stock for the past month. PSFT employees are highly mobile in their jobs and have contacts in many offices. It wouldn't take much for some idea of Tuesday's report to get to people.

Keep the faith - we'll be fine.
