If I had gone through the painful implementation process required for use of one of the big ERPs, I would probably start my search for SFA software with them - after all, they are the one's that are best suited to give me advice regarding compatibility and integration issues. Granted, there aren't all that many integration issues, but I would still go to the ERP vendor to make sure. In other words, if you were inclined to start with your ERP vendor before, you probably still will.
