Joseph, re: today's sell-off... I heard two reports today on CNBC. The first said that IT managers would cut spending for equipment (pc's, servers, etc.) during the second half of 1999 as they start heavy spending to fix the Y2K problems. The second report covered Apple and the iMac. The concern centered on the issue of the iMac and is it selling to existing Apple customers, or to new Apple customers. In other words, is Apple expanding market share, or just cannibalizing their existing customer based?

These two stories caused the hitech sell-off late in the trading day.
