I use RealTick charts and am not certain how to find charts to link to the thread. Please advise. Also, a lot of the confusion may be timing; Michael Learner's comments were so valid they should have been underlined in red. The market's failing to hold above 8000 also suggests weakness for the "rally". Kris

being in the telecom sector can it be a takeover candidate for lucent?
just wondered since there are rumors out that lucent is looking for
a partner! will northern telecom fit in with them?
that's what keeps me from buying the stock! not sure !

Not only are stoch's primed but their 40 day avg is > 120 day avg not only now but 30 days ago as well.

Question from a lurker - When I go to

www.equis.com/java/ms4java800.html

and use their settings for stochastics (5/3) I get a stochastics reading that looks like it could be progressed ahead of the timely.com stochastics 14 chart readings by a few days. Can you explain this to me and the reasons for choosing one setting over another. TIA and thanks for all the great work,
