I agree. That has got to be the stupidest comment I've heard. What a way to kill a nice rally. Now it is clear HWP is brain-dead. They are clueless about spin. They should have said "we see sales stronger in the first half of 1999 due to year 2000 issues"

To Paul-- I asked my wife, who is an English professor, which was correct; dumb-ass or dumb ass. She said there were three books on the subject but it remained highly controversial, and depended upon whether your intent was to use the phrase as a noun or an adjective. Most gramaticists preferred "dunb-ass" for ajectival statements. This is more interesting than the last two years' stock performance! good investing - fred
