Anyone see the intra-day on SMTC on Wednesday?

iqc.com

It had LARGE volume at the end of the day, it began a little before 3PM, and the volume chart for that hour represents a normal curve. That is typically not a pattern created by individuals purchasing a stock, so this is probably another position for an institution. Cool ...

Hey Sword, we're going to be in Anaheim (D-Land) next week. We love that place, and make the trip when we can since the kids are young and enjoy it!

The price moved from $16 to over $18 in about 10 minutes, in heavy volume. It fell back from there, but that was one nice spike. I think if you are a optimist, you have to be considering that this is the first possible indicator that there is something going on in terms of institutional buying.

In other words, this may be the beginning indicator that institutional money may begin to be flowing back into semiconductors. Otherwise, they may be just planning on a pre-earnings run-up, then sell on the news. It's still a guess for me, I lean towards the price having found good support again around $18, rather than finding resistance there. I guess I am sort of an optimist at this point.
