Glenn, AAPL rose from 30 to 40 over the last week, so the earnings surprise must have been priced in. As for XYLN, I show no after-market trades after 4:19 (11 7/8), which was before the announcement and CC. Stock was probably halted prior to announcement and didn't after the CC, as far as I can see.

Keep one thing firm in mind....if the price drops because of news that should have made it go up....MM's are attempting to rebuild their inventory by dropping the bid quickly making some believe it will sink.

The MM's on this should have a good inventory although I expect some drop in the AM......if trading is slow and sells are few the price should rise . If the MM's inventories are big....the price will rise sharply since they will want to sell what they bought earlier at the highest price possible.

Apple has been rising non-stop. It requires the MM's to shock the buyers into being sellers so they can get inventory.
