Nice to talk with somebody else who has been there-done that. I agree with your post. But I also keep in mind that Siemens doesn't need FNTN nearly as much as FNTN needs Siemens. Look at all the companies Microsoft "partnered" with early on and then destroyed as soon as they could create the technologies on their own! Plus, somebody mentioned on this thread, which I haven't verified, that Siemens has about 1,600 "partners."

As those who have done it know, the real work isn't the idea, or even getting the idea initially funded, or getting office space or first customers. The real work is moving from entreprenural start-up to mature company. Holding on to customers, growing the customer base, managing bigger money, etc. Here's where I don't yet see that FNTN has what it takes. (Not that I see that they don't, either, though all the missed deadlines are certainly a major concern. I just don't know.) Have MS or MM ever been close to the top in major companies? Have they been there-done that themselves?
