Sold my entire holdings today at .55. The high for the day, WHOOOPIE! I don't know whether to give myself a pat on the back or beat my head against the wall! Anyway, now might be a good time to buy! You see, I think someone up above is punishing me for some reason. The entire time I have owned IPV it has done nothing but go down and bring me heartache and pain as it strangled the living daylights out of my RSP! In spite of the fact that I had vowed to weather all storms, when I saw the 10 cent bid actually rise to the surface on Wednesday morning, I just couldn't take any more! Now that I have sold, it will surely go up, if only to shower more abuse upon my crippled ego!
Seriously, talked to Flora Wood on Wednesday and she said next quarter results will be out first week of November, but results will be bad news similar to last quarter. And Q-4 will be profit, but only enough to (hopefully) break even for year. She also said that IPV wanted to make ANOTHER public offering (Arrgh!) but obviously that would be a disaster in this market. And somehow they OWN (?) enough credit to continue operations. So I give up for now!
WARNING! I'm considering buying into Newcourt Credit with what little money I have left. Knowing my luck, you'll probably want to avoid it...
