office suite software is as far from a mission critical app as you can get, and linux is excellent for mission critical apps......

Was this in italics cause you read it and making fun of it?.....or did you write that...not realizing you should have reversed the statements to mean the opposite...which is reality.

Hello A.R.

The MS licensing deal for VBA is a major move forward in making WordPerfect more compatible with Word. This should help, especially in the corporate shops.

In context of the pressure from the DOJ, one has to wonder who made the first phone call. And I don't think we'll see this in the Linux version. <gg>

Hi Offshore,
I pulled the quotes straight from the article I posted the link to. I happen to agree that office suite software is "mission critical."

I also agree that the important issue is whether or not "hard sales" can be made by jumping on the Linux bandwagon.
