Ramsey:

Should the estimate numbers of $2.54 for FY99 be changed?

I would imagine estimate increases for FY99 will come after Q's results are announced in November. EPS of $3.00 should be attainable with some upside as a result of the LWIN spin off. I don't have any insight at this time with regards to the LWIN upside, but this should be a question asked during the conference call.

I think this is another example of analysts who do not understand q's model and q not educating the firms who create the investor confidence. For example the current estimate of $ 2.54 for (FY99) is a bench mark which people will use to value Q (the masses and uneducated). They might rightfully say Q priced at $50 is fair considering the "risks."

Now Ramsey we know that EPS of $2.54 for FY99 is conservative to say the least and the risks are actually in Q's favor. Here we find ourselves in FY99 and with the exception of a few institutions and analysts there is no broad base knowledge of Q's model and no one to communicate this to the general public. Yes the estimate numbers should be changed. Thanks
