For my two cents:

This looks like another chance for a home run. The problem is that this is big business big bucks business and big ego business. I could almost see Ampex and MicroNet giving a Web Service provider more competitive advantage by being conglomerated or merged with one.

The other model, which is valid in these high tech specialized services, is for Ampex to be a component provider in a specialty product sense.

If this is the direction that Mr. B has in mind then the new ad agency makes a lot of sense. I think that there is a lot of drooling going on from all concerned parties.

this is extremely provocative.

i think you have tapped, specifically,
a logical growth area for ampex, but more than that:
this is a forward looking application with explosive growth potential.
