Actually the not being blindsided part was something also liked about the indices and also why I don't understand why this news was released during the day. You could literally wipe out an account of a day-trader who was just taking normal signals. Can't leave a position that is on for a second these days. Unreal move. So glad I was flat. Shit even if I was long I would have been blown away and probably not closed it or closed it too soon or messed my pants or ......

Nemer--I have never seen anything like this ever

Shows one how dangerous trading the futures can be

If one were short it would have destroyed all of ones wquity if one were to have used stops.

I cannnot believe that my OEX calls that I thought were dead, have suddenly revived.

------ can you envision Patty the BlueCelt coming out of his seminar and taking a look at the market action of the last 20 minutes ........? ?.

I can't quit laughing .......... and David is taking him out to dinner this evening ........

David ---- spring for at least a double and maybe a triple martini BEFORE anything else

Nemer, I have a feeling he'll have had a few by the time I get there.

Bet the blue celt would have been long. Just his style.

You know what this run forecasts, and it is now cast in stone....

...a Packer win. You see AFC/NFC. Well, AFC won the super bowl and got the bear. NFC team plays tonight and the bull run says that specific NFC team will win.

.....so there you have it. I should have been long since this morning. I knew there was a reason for this run, just did not realize it was my Packer win.

Nuts.

PS - Someone pass me the Mallox. Just the thought of being short into that firestorm got my stomach in knots.....

I had some fun with that.

I took a break to hit my room and was told by David on the phone.

So I strolled back and wandered into the Men's Room. As I was cleaning up a guy who manages a couple of Funds walked in and I casually asked about whether or not he was using Neural Nets for any help. Then, with a glint in my eye I am sure, as he got to the stall I waited a moment and happened to mention "the Fed cut rates, by the by".

What could have created that sudden coloration in his face, do you think?
