what happens when you have a stop in with the futures and something like this happens the market obviously went "fast market" even some of the stock options were fast market... so... how screwed could someone have been with this even with a stop.... I bet some people were wiped out bet the omega list will have about a ton of messages tonight, lee I am with Scott...at least when the normally announce this..we have a date and time to be prepared....it seems to me there was a purpose behind this surprise..not sure what it is..but something was up with that

The fact that I was not or anyone else was not was just providence. I'd say that God was looking after me but that would be too much like this guy who I used to play poker with: a group of us were in this high stakes poker game with wild cards and the lot--and he bailed out just in time though he had a pretty good hand--and had he stayed on he'd have lost a bundle as several of us had good hands and everyone was raising each other. At the end of the game he said in utter seriousness that "God saved me" -- which we thought was hysterical given that we were gambling. Now futures trading is not quite comparable to playing poker -- but on a day like today it comes close!! I rarely log on just after the market closes--but I just had to see what was happening on SI after a day like today. Well, I'll log off now and try and relax until tomorrow Regards
