I think you can point to a lot of the last generation of politicians and say, if they weren't totally honest at least they had dignity and style. This current generation can't even keep the grease out of their comb-overs, let alone the vituperativeness and constant lies out of their mouths or their hands out of the till. But probably its a perception caused by the press. After all, we used to have Kennedy and Giancana sharing a girlfriend, and the press knew, and the public none the wiser. They let Bush off the hook on his girlfriend too. But there is just too much money in sleaze now, even if almost all the media weren't owned by elitist demo haters. chaz
