spot gold hit 300 in asia. reports are flying that asia is buying lots of gold. japanse gold broker quoted earlier this week and se asia traders today.

Just because AG played another "rate cut card" early, everybody seems to have their underwear in a knot. Take a look at this:

Now, superimpose the DOW over that and slide DOW of August 98 over NIKKEI of January 1990. (print it out and hold it up to a light if you need to). That's a pretty good road map for the DOW over the next few years, and that little blip in 1991 where the NIKKEI spiked up from 30,000 to 34,000 or so was because of a series of interest rate cuts-- that amounted to nothing overall.

AG wants to play the hero but his legacy will be something else, IMHO.
