just rumors, but i hear there is one big seller in the stock--perhaps the relative of a hedge fund, who is selling off a large position. Recovery in price would occur once selling pressure is released. Consistent with volume numbers and notion that this is no longer a great short candidate. As an example, I go to Greewich today to try to workout a multimillion real estate loan with a great rate and excellent LTV. The lender is a sub of a very big, now well known hedge fund(not LTCM) which is trying to raise cash desperately. The sale reflects absolutely nothing about the loan--only the seller's circumstances.
Also--both Vogel and Zito substantially reduced est. 99 revenues and loss figures. this, obviously, would delay profitability. So, we take a hit. Godspeed to all. Also, we are all slightly crazy. Everyone else is running at high speed from all risk. This is meaningful risk. We'll get a pop, however, if vendor financing is put in place.
