Well, last time AG cut the rate, initial euphoria was followed by an immediate retracement. This timing was even more skillfully timed than the last. But I am beginning to agree with you that there may be substantial negatives to read into this unprecedented move.

I think the timing is important, though -- right before options expiry? Something smells of a rescue of some type here.
