Drive Image doesn't work with Tape.

That makes complete sense to me now. I understand now (only recently though) that Drive Image is to be used as a cloning mechanism from hard drive to hard drive or hard drive to magnetic removables other than tape or cd-xxx...... and vis versa

Would it be practical to store Drive Image files on tape? Could you store them on tape and then copy them to an extended partition and then restore them? If you have a system crash is the tape drive available to copy a Drive Image file to the extended partition for restoration?
